Come rain or shine; a date for the diary for all families, friends, youngsters and oldies alike. Whether beer lovers, foodies or those partial to a home-brewed cider, the Summer Beer & Food Festival is going to be the highlight of the season in Edinburgh and its surrounds.

How does a line-up of eight limited release collaboration beers sound? Or perhaps a Lucas ice cream served out of a Rolls Royce? Or a family day filled with wonderful sunshine and food?

Whilst we cannot confirm that the day will be sun-filled, Stewart Brewing can promise that their Summer Beer & Food Fest will be fun-fuelled.

It is the official Year of Food and Drink, so what better way to celebrate Scotland’s incredible produce, and perhaps more importantly, have fun in trying, tasting and taking part in all that it has to offer.

Taking place on the 1st of August, 12noon – 6pm, think beer gardens, marquees, live music (using Stewart Brewing’s delivery lorry as a stage!), delicious, local food and an unimaginable line-up of beers. There will be cider and soft drinks available too.

SBFF is a celebration and with that in mind, Stewart Brewing have teamed up with numerous food and drink producers and industry celebs to create eight collaboration beers. Tom Kitchin, Edinburgh Gin and I.J.Mellis just to name a few.

The lovely people at Stewart Brewing are offering our blog readers an early bird ticket deal (available until 11th May) at aprice of £7.50. That includes two drinks of choice and entry in to all of the fun. Under 16s are free.

Full information and tickets are available online here and in the Brewery Shop. Find out more about Stewart Brewing here.
