The Scotland Food & Drink Excellence Awards recognise innovation, enterprise and quality anti herpes medication within Scotland’s largest industry. Open to entries from the smallest of businesses, right through to large international distributors, the award-winners truly represent the best this country has to offer.
The countdown to the deadline for entries is on, with only five days left until the closing date (Friday 24th February).
Taste is a key element to the success of all food and drink companies, however it is with the united support of the people, the partnerships and the production that allows a business to develop and become a success in its own right. This years awards have nine categories dedicated to this side of the industry; including the new Primary Producer of the Year category, Brand Success of the Year, Scottish Sourcing, and Success through Partnership.
James Withers, Chief Executive of Scotland Food & Drink said:
“The Scottish food and drink industry’s envied reputation and the Scotland Food & Drink Excellence Awards record of successes provides a fantastic platform to celebrate the outstanding achievements across our industry. These triumphs deserve recognition and I would encourage companies of all sizes, from the big players to small artisan producers, to enter this year’s awards.”
Winners of the business categories last year ranged from an independent restaurant, Ninth Wave (Scottish Sourcing winner); to Graham’s The Family Dairy, a traditional family business (Brand Success winner); to Aldi, a multi-national supermarket chain (Success through Partnership winner). The diversity of these brands supports the reputation the awards have, for recognising Scotland’s best industry pioneers regardless of their stature.
Shortlisted businesses are invited to the awards ceremony, placing them in front of key industry decision makers, buyers and top chefs. Whether successful in their categories or not, it is a platform upon which invaluable business relationships can be made and unique networking opportunities are offered.
Frequently called the ‘food and drink Oscars’ of the year, the Scotland Food & Drink Excellence Awards are held in the highest regard throughout the industry. Don’t miss your opportunity to further your business accreditation, enter the awards here.
