Discover, Drink and Dance your way across Glasgow with the first ever Glasgow Cocktail Weekend.

Glasgow’s very first festival dedicated to cocktails and home-grown DJs officially launched tickets today (Friday, 20th July) with top bartenders from Nonya, McPhabbs, Strip Joint, The Finnieston, Halloumi and Nam Tuk serving up drinks and tickets to DJ Rebecca Vasmant outside the Rotunda.

Running from August 9th  to August 12th the event is set to be an incredible showcase of Glasgow’s best bars, delicious drinks and live music performances across the city.

Giving cocktail lovers the chance to sample over 100 signature £5 drinks and attend masterclasses in 30 of the city’s top venues, Glasgow Cocktail Weekend also has an jam-packed live music programme with four intimate performances from DJs that sell out internationally, including cult dance favourites We Should Have Out More and house kings, Silicone Soul playing sets in the illustrious backdrop of the top two floors of the Rotunda.

Tickets are priced from £10 from and grant access to a world of cocktails and music over four days. Anyone that buys a weekend ticket before July 31st will also be entered into a Golden Cocktail draw to win one of four VIP tickets, granting all area access throughout the festival, a premium distillery tour at Auchentoshan with drams, a Makar Gin distillery tour, and a dining experience in Rioja in Finnieston.

Organised by award-winning Scottish communications consultancy Moir Media, the festival aims to allow Glasgow and tourists to the city a chance to discover the grit and glamour of the best of Glasgow’s live music scene and independent food and drink operators.

“Over 30 of Glasgow’s best bars will be serving up £5 drinks from the effortlessly cool Kelvingrove Café, the stylish Spanish Butcher to live blues basement den Howlin Wolf – there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

“Whether you want to sip on something spectacular or dance to an international DJ, join us this August to drink and dance your way across the best venues in Glasgow.”

Glasgow Cocktail Weekend is a chance to sample the best cocktails in the city and watch the best DJs over four days this August (running from August 9th until the 12th).

–       Saturday 11th We Should Hang Out More – With a hipster following built on a love of disco and techno, these producers have a cult following that continue to impress. Fresh from touring these Glasgow natives will bring the party
–       Sunday 12th August –  closing party – All female superstar lineup including Rebecca Vasmant, IDA, Lindsay Green and Aisha showing that girls do it bigger and better to close the festival
